I agree to the data controller to hold and process my data as per Sri Lankan data protection act, EU GDPR, PII information, special category data where applicable.
We take information security very seriously. Operating in Europe we have taken all necessary and regulatory safeguards about your data, and who has access to it.

The local Sri Lankan mission is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We process your data in accordance with the Sri Lankan Data Protection Act, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), and all applicable data protection laws.

We collect and process the following categories of personal data: full name, email address, mobile phone number, passport number, national identity card number, issuer country, date of birth, and any other information you provide during registration or booking.

Your personal data is processed solely for the purpose of providing consular and administrative services, managing your appointments, verifying your identity, and communicating with you regarding your service requests.

We recognise that the data we collect constitutes Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We take all reasonable measures to protect this information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Where applicable, we may process special category data as defined under the EU GDPR and Sri Lankan data protection laws. Such data will only be processed with your explicit consent and where necessary for the provision of consular services.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, please contact the local Sri Lankan mission directly.

Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.
